Children’s Book Author Michelle Lander Feinberg Receives National Recognition with NYC Big Book Award® for Cooper the Dog Series

The mission of cooper the dog is to entertain children and inspire conversations about pet adoption, friendship, diversity and kindness.

2021 was a banner year for award-winning books due to the high level of quality and diversity of books submitted. Again in 2021, the NYC Big Book Award® received book submissions from around the world, including excellent submissions from journalists, well-established authors, small and large press as well as authors young independents who participated in large numbers.
Award-winning books included The American Bar Association, Friesen Press, Gatekeeper Press, Greenleaf Book Group, Joggling Board Press, Story Merchant Books, and WildBlue Press. Quality children’s publishers like barefoot books as good as Mango and Marigold press were awarded. Independent presses such as Brill, Goff Books, Books by KöhlerLlewellyn Publications, ORO Publishing, Routledge Publishers, Rowman & Littlefield, and She writes the press took home the winner and distinguished favorite awards. AuthorHouse, IngramSpark, KindleDirect, SDP Publishing were part of the self-publishing platforms. Recently, Hachette Books, MacMillan, Penguin Random House were among the major publishers who entered.
